Job summary

Fitch Irick Corporation in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day maintenance of the property and related buildings. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform turnovers, and upkeep grounds and amenities while following Fitch Irick policies and applicable laws.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift heavy items, and adherence to safety and Fair Housing standards. Valid driver's license is required; travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree or EPA/CFC certification.
• Strong teamwork and customer service mindset.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings and amenities.
• Schedule and complete all preventative maintenance programs.
• Report risks and incidents with appropriate forms and records.
• Observe Fair Housing rules and comply with OSHA requirements.
• Handle emergencies according to Fitch Irick policies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and keep storage areas organized.
• Complete unit turnovers and ensure compliance with turnover checklists.
