Geater Machining & Manufacturing, Co. is seeking a Skilled Production Technician to support in-person machining and sheet metal operations across multiple shifts. This role requires operating drills, presses, and related equipment while contributing to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience is required.
Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance and frequent standing.

Responsibilities

Follow safety procedures and work with teammates to meet production goals.

We are looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team. We have many opportunities available on all shifts such as:

Drill Press/Utility
Machinist
Machine Operator
Press Brake Operator
Punch/Laser Operator
Hardware Installation Technician
Finishing Operations Technician
Quality Inspection Technician

Education and/or Experience:

Record of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Physical Demands Include:

Sitting, standing, and walking.
Use of fingers, hands and arms to handle, grip, and grasp objects, controls, parts, tools and to operate required equipment; and reach, push and pull with hands and arms.
Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Being able to see (20/25 vision with or without glasses) and hear (with mechanical assistance if necessary) sufficient to understand and comprehend individual one-on-one conversations.
