Job summary

Geater Machining and Manufacturing, Co. in Iowa seeks a Skilled Production Technician to support a range of operations across day and night shifts, from drill press to laser punching and finishing. You will contribute to quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

We welcome energetic, dedicated team members with a high school diploma or GED; six months to one year of related experience is preferred. This is an in-person role with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Education And/or Experience

Record of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Six months to one year related experience and/or training.

Physical Demands Include

Sitting, standing, and walking.
Use of fingers, hands and arms to handle, grip, and grasp objects, controls, parts, tools and to operate required equipment; and reach, push and pull with hands and arms.
Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Being able to see (20/25 vision with or without glasses) and hear (with mechanical assistance if necessary) sufficient to understand and comprehend individual one-on-one conversations.
