Job Summary

The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities. The Machine Technician will perform various rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations and support managers and all plant staff to meet operational goals.

Schedule

4 weeks on days 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM; 4 weeks on nights 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM.

Essential Duties
  • Assure all activities are performed safely.
  • Produce high-quality products consistently.
  • Generate timely, consistent reports.
  • Communicate positively with co-workers and leaders.
Qualifications

Required

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years manufacturing or safety-sensitive experience.
  • Ability to respond to requests professionally and timely.
  • Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, organization, and reporting skills.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
  • Technical knowledge: ability to troubleshoot production challenges.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percent, measurement interpretation.

Preferred

  • Experience in a fast-paced, continuous process environment.
Physical Demands
  • Stationary positions, frequent moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, repeated motions, coordination.
  • Work in extreme cold, heat, humidity, wet, noisy, vibration, temperature changes.
Travel Requirements

May require occasional travel for conferences, site visits, or professional development.
