Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an Experienced Press Machine Operator for First Shift at our Newburyport, MA facility. The role requires operating press machines safely, inspecting parts during production, and maintaining equipment per AS9100 quality procedures.

This onsite position offers hands-on manufacturing work within a global aerospace components environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of press operator experience, reads blueprints, and can work with measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• 1-3 years of Press Operator background and/or experience in a machine shop.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.
• Run Press machines with skill and efficiency.
• Perform visual inspection while running presses.
• Identify issues and recommend solutions when issues arise with the press.
• Provide technical expertise in the Progressive Cell.
• Consistently follow documented production instructions
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times.
• Follow all applicable AS9100 quality procedures.
