Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems on construction and industrial sites in accordance with plans, specs and codes.

Responsibilities include reading isometrics, fabricating, welding, rigging, hydro testing and ensuring compliance with safety rules. On-site work may require overtime and adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Strong knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read isometrics, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt and clamp components for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes and fittings by welding and threading joints.
• Install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, pipe and supports as per plans.
• Hydro test piping systems and inspect work for contract compliance.
• Maintain safety and project rules and assist with other duties as required.
