Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems on a construction site in Texas. You will read isometrics, fabricate components, weld and thread joints, and install equipment per project specs.

Candidate must have experience with various joint types and a strong ability to work from plans while meeting safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Strong working knowledge in pipe systems and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, install, test and repair piping systems per plans and codes.
• Maintain knowledge of butt welded, socket welded, threaded, Victaulic, grooved joints.
• Read isometrics, measure, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, clamp, weld, and thread joints for piping assemblies.
• Install equipment, vessels, skids, pumps, and supports per specs.
• Hydro test piping systems and estimate quantities and timelines.
• Supervise and inspect work to ensure contract compliance.
