Job summary

Talentify in Sun City, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our patient services team. You will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and interact with patients with professionalism and confidentiality.

The role requires accuracy, the ability to work independently, and flexibility for varying schedules, including weekends. Prior phlebotomy experience and California CPT license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience; 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service in retail/service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality.
• Perform duties following established practices and safety procedures; maintain required records and documentation.
