Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Tehachapi, CA. This onsite role requires California Phlebotomy License and certified phlebotomy skills, with duties including blood collection and specimen handling under supervision.

The PSR I responsibilities include accurate daily tasks, safe patient interaction, and thorough record-keeping, with weekend availability and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• California Phlebotomy License — Required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
