Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Mount Olive, NC. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience. Travel to other sites may be required, and a PST incentive plan bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 6 months’ phlebotomist experience.
• Color blindness test may be required; overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
