Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Raleigh, NC team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 6 months experience). Travel to additional sites may be needed; strong customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
