Job summary

Labcorp in High Point, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-1:30pm, with a 30-minute meal break.

In this role you will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, enter patient information accurately, and process billing as needed. You will travel to additional sites when required and provide superior customer service to every patient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Phlebotomy certification or training; 3+ months phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for tests and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Maintain logs of patients and specimens; provide courteous service.
