Job summary

Labcorp in Raleigh, NC seeks a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and provide exceptional patient service. The role involves data entry, specimen handling, and occasional travel to other sites. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with rotating Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, with 6+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months’ or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
