Job summary

BELFOR Holdings is seeking a professional Painter in Chandler, AZ to paint interiors and exteriors of structures. You will select materials, prep surfaces, and ensure high-quality results with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing surfaces, masking, filling cracks, mixing paint, applying finishes, and following safety rules. A high school diploma and 1+ year painting experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience as a professional painter.
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
• Construction, restoration or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
• Ability to work under time constraints to meet specific obligations.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine work.
• Make on-site preparations, such as scaffolding and masking.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and taping off areas.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material.
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare colors or textures.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
• Apply varnish and other finishes.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
