Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Painter to handle interior and exterior painting of structures in Chandler, AZ. You will select materials, prep surfaces, and ensure high-quality results with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, on-site preparations, surface painting, finishing, and strict adherence to safety standards. Minimum 1+ year painting experience preferred; construction/restoration exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of professional painting experience.
• Solid knowledge of commercial/construction painting techniques.
• Construction, restoration or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine work.
• Make on-site prep, such as scaffolding and covering fixtures.
• Prepare walls and surfaces by scraping, sanding, and taping.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material.
• Mix paint and materials to achieve correct color/texture.
• Paint surfaces with various tools.
• Apply varnish and finishes.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
