Job summary

Avamere Living in Lake Oswego, Oregon, seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive care in a skilled nursing setting at The Pearl at Kruse Way. The role covers resident assessment, medication administration, care planning, and supervision of LPNs and CNAs during day shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM).

Collaborate with physicians and therapists, maintain EMR documentation, ensure resident safety, and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. BSN preferred.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and/or critical care.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessing residents and supervising staff.
• Administer medications and monitor health, coordinating with physicians.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor vital signs and document changes, reporting concerns promptly.
• Supervise and train LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation for new staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
