Job summary

South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge who greets residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and service providers daily with warmth and professionalism. The Concierge is the first face visitors see and also handles calls, directing information and assistance as needed.

Daily duties include telephone coverage, addressing resident and vendor issues without escalation, logging deliveries, and supporting clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers while keeping objectives in mind.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt, and notify residents of delivery.
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

South Port Squareis recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner daily. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community! The Concierge is also responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors. Performs a variety of clerical duties as assigned.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in logbook, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery.
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
