South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL, is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge. You will greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, and vendors daily in a warm, professional manner and handle information requests, directions, and assistance.

Responsibilities include answering calls, resolving issues, accepting deliveries, logging them, and assisting with maintenance requests. Part-time, Wed and Thu 8A-4P; salary from $15.00/hour. Florida background check required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent telephone communication skills demonstrated.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

South Port Squareis recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner daily. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community! The Concierge is also responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors. Performs a variety of clerical duties as assigned.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in logbook, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery.
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.
