Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Lakeland, FL to deliver skilled PTA services within a Skilled Nursing Facility, working in dedicated therapy gyms to help residents regain function and independence.

Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) is required; SNF/post-acute experience is preferred. We offer a full-time hourly position with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package in a modern, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Florida-licensed PTA or license-eligible.
• Experience in skilled-nursing facilities or post-acute care preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve patient function.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services to SNF residents.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety and function.
• Help residents regain independence through therapy.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and participate in care planning.
