Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. Eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus. You will perform resident evaluations, develop rehabilitation plans and supervise therapy staff.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited PT program and holds a NY State license. Prior geriatric or SNF experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship and clinical support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Experience in skilled nursing/geriatric care preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Assist residents in daily tasks and monitor progress.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants.
