Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. This role requires graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program and a current New York State PT license.

Experience in a geriatric or SNF setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork are encouraged to apply. We offer a $7,000 sign-on bonus, competitive compensation, benefits, PTO from day one, CEU reimbursement, mentorship, and flexible

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.

• Evaluate residents' conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
• Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
• Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members
