Advanced Rehab Center of Tustin in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Cook to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will be responsible for preparing meals for residents and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment in accordance with dietary requirements.

Responsibilities include following menus, preparing meals, serving residents, and keeping equipment and work areas sanitized. Strong reading and teamwork skills, plus knowledge of food safety, are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare or food service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and portion control.
• Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Dietary Manager.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
