RYZE on the Avenue in Chicago is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee accounts receivable, billing operations, and resident financial services in a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure financial processes are accurate and timely, act as the liaison between residents and families for billing questions, and collaborate with admissions and facility leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Business Office Manager or healthcare billing role.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay billing.
• Experience with PCC, RFMS, or similar healthcare billing/EHR tools.
• Familiar with Public Aid applications, Medicaid Pending processes, and DHS procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable functions including private pay, Medicaid and Medicare billing.
• Coordinate Public Aid applications within 7 days of admission with Admissions and families.
• Enroll residents in direct deposit through RFMS; maintain daily status reporting.
• Conduct weekly collection calls and document efforts in PCC Collections Tab.
• Reconcile trust accounts monthly and pay resident insurance premiums by the 5th.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for all residents on admission and ongoing.
• Attend Medicare meetings and liaison between corporate office and families on billing.
• Submit daily census and deposits; forward credit card payments for posting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
