Job summary

Legacy Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a Business Office Manager to lead billing and accounts receivable for our skilled nursing facility. You will balance resident accounts, create and mail billing statements, and ensure timely collections to support high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of accounting experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Experience in billing/ar management in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and accounts receivable for the facility.
• Balance resident accounts and prepare billing statements.
• Distribute resident cash allowances and assist with applications.
