Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation in Russell Springs, KY is seeking skilled Medium Equipment Operators to join our field team. You will operate medium-sized construction equipment for site prep, excavation, and material handling, following safety rules and project plans.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read grade stakes or blueprints. We offer competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience operating medium-sized heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to read grade stakes and blueprints is a plus.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-sized heavy equipment such as water trucks, articulated off road trucks, motor graders, rollers and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report maintenance issues or defects.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures on the job site.
• Load and unload materials, grade surfaces, dig trenches, clear land, and perform other tasks as directed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel on the job site.
• Assist with general labor duties on the ground when equipment operation is not required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Follow project plans and specifications.
