O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution center systems and equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will diagnose, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities include working with conveyors, HVAC, and building systems, calibrating equipment, and supporting root-cause analysis for failures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical training is required.
• 0–3 months of experience coordinating work or guiding teammates.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and basic controls troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand and diagnostic tools and CMMS usage.
• Experience in distribution center, warehouse, or industrial operations.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on distribution center systems and equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, PIT systems, HVAC, building systems, and generators.
• Calibrate, test, and validate equipment performance.
• Install, relocate, and modify equipment and distribution center systems as needed.
• Maintain and repair high-density storage racking and infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and docs.
• Monitor system performance and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Support root-cause analysis for equipment failures and lifecycle decisions.
• Complete and document work orders in CMMS; maintain logs and inventory docs.
• Provide guidance to entry-level technicians and other team members.
