Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $18.00 - $25.00/hour
Shift: 12 Hour Nights
Hours: 6:45pm - 7:00am
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Janesville WI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, equipment and facility systems by conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing timely repairs. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems across production and support departments
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Test electronic units using standard diagnostic tools and analyze performance
- Identify necessary materials, parts, and tools for repairs or installations
- Maintain system logs and testing documentation
- Adjust or replace malfunctioning electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide repairs and installations
- Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies to operational standards
- Use test instruments such as voltmeters to evaluate performance
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- At least three years of industrial/commercial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong interest and background in mechanical systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities
