Job description

Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $30-$37/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-3pm

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Be the point-of-contact for all equipment related concerns in ACH and ETI, including both preventive and reactive maintenance concerns; effectively and efficiently resolve all equipment issues in a timely manner.
  2. Interface with associates, members of the organization, vendor technical support staff, and contractors to address and resolve problems with manufacturing processes and equipment.
  3. Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary; perform evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and/or reliability of equipment.
  4. Utilize maintenance requisition system (Fiix) to track and manage work orders.
  5. Maintain the building and facilities, including basic air/mechanical/HVAC support, working with external contractors for quoting, maintenance, and follow-up activities.
  6. Coordinate annual Fire Inspections with the FAFD.
  7. Complete EPA form R (Lead reporting) and any other forms required by local/state government.
  8. Work with Operations and Engineering teams to reconcile variances due to equipment functionality.
  9. Define and implement continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing.
  10. Maintain compliance with current ISO standards and customer-specific requirements as applicable.
  11. Coordinate and quote annual waste management services with Veolia to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and cost-effective disposal solutions.
  12. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree and/or training is preferred.
  2. Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  3. Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic electrical schematics.
  4. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills, and ability to repair systems independently.
  5. Practical experience with automated equipment and robots, simple electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
