Position Title: Maintenance Technician - 12 Hour Days or Nights
Wage:
$59,000 - $78,000/year
Shift:
12 Hour Days or Nights
Hours:
6:00am - 6:00pm or 6:00pm - 6:00am

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
  1. Execute routine, preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance activities for manufacturing and support equipment
  2. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair control and non-control based production equipment
  3. Identify problems and solutions on existing equipment
  4. Make suggestions/recommendations on specific manufacturers components to be installed on new equipment and/or upgrades to assist in standardization of parts throughout the facility
  5. Participate with the Maintenance leader and the Production Unit in purchasing new, rebuilt or upgrades for equipment projects
  6. Manage planned downtime activities for equipment
  7. Order required component parts and identify additional resources
  8. Maintain work area in an organized fashion
  9. Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve the equipment's reliability and maintainability
  10. Assist in the development of preventive, predictive and repair tasks and procedures
  11. Follow safety regulations and practices including but not limited to lockout/tag out and required personal protective equipment
  12. Effectively utilize and follow systems for inventory control of spare parts, labor reporting, maintenance requests, Preventive Maintenance work orders, and purchasing
  13. Assist Production Unit in line changeovers and set-ups as needed
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. At least five years of industrial maintenance experience (pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical)
  3. Training certifications in a technical field (PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical)
  4. Experience operating, programming and troubleshooting PLC's
  5. Solid troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, electrical and hydraulic systems
  6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  7. Ability to work from ladder or elevated platform
  8. Ability to maintain a forklift license
  9. Ability to read and understand blueprints
  10. Data driven mindset in identifying and prioritizing opportunities and issues
  11. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capacity
  12. Energetic and self-driven professional, with a high degree of customer focus
  13. Excellent communication skills
  14. Good team player with an ability to operate in a cross-functional organization
  15. Organized and detail oriented
  16. Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize, multi-task
  17. Ability to troubleshoot issues, find root cause and initiate corrective action
