Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a highly dependable SKILLED MACHINE OPERATOR to run equipment on the Front End of our Production lines, including Fillers, PODS, and Retorts. The starting payrate is $26/HR with day and night shifts available.

Work 36 hours per week and get paid for 40 hours per week, with occasional Sundays. We offer on-demand access to wages and emphasize safety, quality, yields and productivity in a fast-paced dairy processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Food and bottling experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Filler, PODS or Retorts.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance and input SAP entries.
• Assist with safety, quality, yields and productivity improvements.
• Maintain production records in writing and computer systems.
• Review charts and quality sheets and specifications (hard copy and electronic).
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
• Assist with training in the functional area as needed.
• Maintain a high level of safety and quality awareness and urgency.
• Foster teamwork aligned with our company mission, vision, and core values.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and comply with GMPs and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
