Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a highly dependable SKILLED MACHINE OPERATOR to run Front End equipment on production lines (Fillers, PODS, Retorts). Shifts include day and night, with three 12-hour rotations and paid for 40 hours weekly. Starting payrate is $26/hour with on-demand pay access.

The role requires English fluency, effective communication, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced food & beverage environment. SAP data entry will be routine.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Food/bottling experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Filler, PODS or Retorts on production lines.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Input production data into SAP system and maintain records.
• Support safety, quality, yields and productivity improvements.
• Follow all safety policies and GMPs; maintain sanitation.

Dairy Farmers of America is looking for highly dependable team player to join our staff as a SKILLED MACHINE OPERATORto run equipment on the Front End of our Production lines which would include Fillers, PODS, Retorts.

Positions available on day and night shifts.

Shifts are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday OR Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Day Shift is 6:00AM - 6:30PM. Night Shift is 6:00PM - 6:30AM.

All Crews in Production are required to work an occasional Sunday - which are preplanned.

Work three 12 hours shifts each week and get paid for 40 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Operating Filler, PODS or Retorts
• Troubleshooting, performing minor maintenance repairs and inputting items into the SAP system.
• Engage in problem solving to assist in improving safety, quality, yields and productivity.
• Maintain accurate production records that are written, and computer based.
• Review charts, screens, quality check sheets and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
• Assist with training efforts in functional area as needed
• Maintain a high level of safety and quality awareness and a high degree of urgency.
• Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Follows all DFA GMP's and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• 1-3 years prior manufacturing experience required
• Food & bottling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply to plant environment.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Solid PC skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
