Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a Machine Operator B to support production operations. You will cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill and stamp materials per shop drawings and work orders while maintaining safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year welding-related experience, and the ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Determines sequence of operation by reading shop drawings, specifications and work orders.
• Cuts, lays out, punches, bends, drills or stamps materials per shop drawings with minimal defects.
• Changes or replaces tooling and consumables on machines as needed.
• Uses proper setting techniques to avoid machine damage.
• Reads a tape measure to 1/16 inch accurately.
• Prepares items for processing following work instructions.
• Performs simple maintenance diagnosis of machines.
• Operates overhead cranes, gantries, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports safety and quality standards.
