Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking a Skilled Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

You will set up, operate, and inspect multiple machines, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to standards. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential. The role offers a starting hourly wage of $23.00–$34.50 (with 15% shift differential) plus a $1,000 new hire bonus and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of related machine operating experience, preferred.
• Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and inspect machines such as moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud machines, CNC equipment, and tenoners.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor production, perform basic measurements, and document results.
• Train others as needed and support team goals.

Quanexis looking for a Skilled Machine Operator – 2 nd Shift to join our team located inSt. Cloud, Minnesota.

If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results, this role offers the opportunity to build your skills on a variety of specialized equipment. As a Skilled Machine Operator, you'll set up, operate, and inspect machines such as moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud machines, CNC equipment, and tenoners, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Salary: $23.00-$34.50 per hour (rate includes 15% shift differential), starting wage varies based on your experience

New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 2:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 6:30pm

Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 4:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm, potential Saturdays
