Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Skilled Machine Operator – 2nd Shift in St. Cloud, Minnesota to set up, operate and inspect moulders, copes, beam saws, and CNC equipment. You will ensure product quality and maintain precise records throughout the shift.

The role offers growth opportunities, a new hire bonus of $1,000, and competitive benefits. Work hours are 4:30pm–2:00am Monday–Thursday with overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required.
• 6 months+ related machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read prints and measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.

Quanex is looking for a Skilled Machine Operator – 2nd Shift to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality results, this role offers the opportunity to build your skills on a variety of specialized equipment. As a Skilled Machine Operator, you'll set up, operate, and inspect machines such as moulders, copes, beam saws, Onsrud machines, CNC equipment, and tenoners, helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Salary: $23.00-$34.50 per hour (rate includes 15% shift differential), starting wage varies based on your experience

New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 2:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 6:30pm

Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 4:00am, Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm, potential Saturdays
