Job summary

Quanex in Cannon Falls, Minnesota is urgently hiring a Production Operator to join our 3rd Shift team. Responsibilities include performing changeovers, packing components, and conducting quality checks on extrusion lines to meet production standards.

The position offers a Monday-Friday 10:30pm–7:00am schedule, starting hourly rate of $21 with a $3 shift differential, plus benefits such as PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, and stock purchase plans.

Responsibilities

• Performs changeovers, packs components, and performs quality checks on extrusion lines to meet production standards and quality requirements.
• Follows safety procedures and utilizes safety devices to address any safety issues.
• Follows standard work procedures for packaging, quality inspection, and machine operation.
• Maintains an organized and clean work area.
• Assists other departments as needed under direction from Team Leader.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 10:30pm to 7:00am

Hourly Rate: Starts at $21/hr+ $3.00 shift differential.
