Job summary

Environmental Works Inc is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to support Field Services and Emergency Response teams. The Recruiter will work closely with Operations Managers to understand needs, source diverse candidates, and maintain an engaging candidate experience.

Two or more years in recruiting for skilled labor roles, familiarity with ADP and major job boards, and strong communication are essential. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in recruiting for skilled laborer roles.
• Experience with field technicians or CDL driver roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with labor laws and recruiting best practices.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP preferred).
• Familiarity with Indeed, ZipRecruiter and other job boards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Managers to define position requirements and align recruitment with needs.
• Review resumes to identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone screens evaluating qualifications, experience, and culture fit.
• Schedule interviews with hiring managers and prepare all participants.
• Maintain clear, professional candidate communications.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for peak seasons.
• Collaborate on talent recruitment strategies to support growth.
• Source candidates via referrals, job fairs, colleges, networking events, and partnerships.
• Engage with various personality types and communication styles.
