Position Title: Field Service Technician Wage: $30.00 - $35.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm

We are seeking a mechanically and electrically inclined Field Service Technician in Gurnee, IL to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and interacting with customers. The first year will primarily focus on hands-on training alongside experienced technicians. After successfully completing training, travel is expected to increase to approximately 25-50%, including overnight travel as needed.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and scheduled service visits

Requirements for Field Service Technician:
  • 1-3 years of mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience. Field service or customer-facing maintenance experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree or trade school education is a plus. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain a U.S. passport. Willingness to travel overnight after training. Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift for heavier equipment). Regular standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and bending. Use hand and power tools daily. Work in manufacturing facilities, mechanical rooms, hospitals, and customer sites. Comfortable working around electrical equipment, moving machinery, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels
