Job summary

SpecSys Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Fabricator to measure, mark drill spots, and perform maintenance while maintaining documentation.

The role offers a flexible schedule with 4×10-hour shifts and 5×8-hour shifts, with pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Daily duties include reading blueprints, operating drill presses, band saws, grinders, and other tooling, with safety and quality as core company values and opportunities for training and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours plus per day.
• Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Read a tape measure to verify dimensions.
• Operate a drill press to create holes.
• Operate a frame drill to machine frames.
• Operate a hand drill for various holes and tasks.
• Operate a band saw for cutting.
• Operate a 5" grinder for finishing.
• Operate a plate roll for forming metal plates.
• Perform decimal conversions as required.
• Be prepared to learn to operate an overhead crane.
