SpecSys Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Fabricator to join a growing team. The role focuses on measuring and marking drill spots, performing regular maintenance checks, and maintaining documents while working with various metalworking tools.

The position offers a flexible schedule and a competitive hourly pay range of $18–$25. Applicants should be able to read blueprints, operate drill presses and saws, stand for long periods, and lift up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to read a tape measure and transfer dimensions accurately.
• Experience operating metalworking machines as a fabricator.

The Fabricator has the primary responsibility of measuring and marking drill spots, performing regular maintenance checks and maintaining documents

Some of your daily responsibilities as the Fabricator would be:

• Ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to operate a drill press
• Ability to operate a frame drill
• Ability to operate a hand drill
• Ability to operate a band saw
• Ability to operate a 5" grinder
• Ability to operate a plate roll
• Decimal conversion
• Will be required to learn how to use an overhead crane

What are we looking for in a great Fabricator?

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to stand for 8 hours plus per day
• Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
