Job summary

SpecSys is seeking a Fabricator to join our team in the upper Midwest. The role offers a flexible schedule with a mix of 4 ten-hour shifts and 5 eight-hour shifts, with start times that can adapt to personal needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.

• Experience reading blueprints and using measurement tools.

Fabricator has the primary responsibility of measuring and marking drill spots, performing regular maintenance checks and maintaining documents.

Some of your daily responsibilities as the Fabricator would be:

• Ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to operate a drill press
• Ability to operate a frame drill
• Ability to operate a hand drill
• Ability to operate a band saw
• Ability to operate a 5\" grinder
• Ability to operate a plate roll
• Decimal conversion
• Will be required to learn how to use an overhead crane

What are we looking for in a great Fabricator?

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to stand for 8 hours plus per day
• Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
