Job summary

SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking an Electrician to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, services, and equipment across district facilities. This nonexempt position reports to the Director of Maintenance and requires adherence to safety standards while ensuring reliable operation of all electrical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Texas TDLR journeyman electrician license and a Texas driver’s license, and has at least four years of electrical

Qualifications

Valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) journeyman electrician license.
Clear and valid Texas driver's license.
Four years experience in electrical field.

Responsibilities

Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, control and distribution apparatus following codes and blueprints.
Diagnose and resolve problems in circuits, systems, and equipment, test continuity for safety.
Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus in facilities.
Maintain inventory of district-owned tools and materials.
Respond to emergency calls as needed.
