Great Place Construction (GPC) in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a skilled concrete finisher for full-time year-round work. Wages start between $27 and $32 per hour DOE. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, paid travel time in company vehicles, and work generally within 1–2 hours of Sioux Falls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, place and finish concrete.
• Construct, place and strip formwork.
• Install reinforcement steel per project documents.
• Place/strike concrete with mechanical equipment.
• Finish/edge/cut placed concrete.
• Coordinate concrete installation with field supervision.
• Daily transportation to designated pickup location.

You don’t have to have it all – we will train for you.****DUTIES:*** The concrete finisher will prepare/place/finish concrete* Construct, place and strip formwork* Install reinforcement steel in accordance with project specific documents* Place/strike concrete with mechanical equipment* Finish/edge/cut placed concrete* Clean up and properly maintain tools associated with this work* Work with field supervision to coordinate entire concrete installation process* Workers will be provided daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location at the Sioux Falls, SD* Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment## Qualifications* Previous concrete work/experience including setting of wall and flatwork forms, operation of power screed and power trowels* Ability to read reinforcing steel drawings and basic structural foundation plans is desired* Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted on a frequent basis.
