Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift in Lincoln, MA. The role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a strong commitment to quality, and adherence to safety and GMP/GDP practices.

You will operate, set up, and monitor CNC machines, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and preferably an associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions.
• Perform progressive machining of various parts and metals with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Use measuring equipment and interpret readings to ensure OOQ standards.
• Perform routine PM and hand finishing as needed.
• Follow GMP/GDP practices and document activity accurately.
• Identify safety, health, and environmental issues and report them.
