Job summary

Heller’s Gas INC in Berwick, PA seeks a skilled Carpenter to construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures. You will read blueprints, measure, cut, and fit wood, plywood, and wallboard while following safety rules and maintaining quality workmanship.

The role involves working on-site in various weather conditions, with attention to detail and strong teamwork and communication. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required where needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to plan layouts.

• Cut, shape and join wood, plywood and wallboard using hand and power tools.
• Install structures and fixtures and finish surfaces in houses/buildings.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders; maintain safe work environment.
