Job summary

Heller’s Gas is seeking a construction laborer to build and repair structures for residential and commercial projects. The role involves setting up site equipment, measuring and cutting materials, and finishing surfaces such as drywall and flooring.

You will operate in varied indoor/outdoor environments and may travel for work as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, carpentry/masonry/electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for background checks

Carpentry, masonry, and electrical experience required.
Familiarity with residential/commercial construction practices.
Valid driver’s license.
Background checks and pre-employment/random drug testing required.

Responsibilities

Build and repair structures for residential and commercial construction/remodeling.
Set up equipment to be used at work sites.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
Grind, sand, and polish surfaces such as concrete or wood.
Install and finish drywall and flooring surfaces.
Unload materials such as lumber, tools, and other equipment used at work sites.
Must possess one’s own carpentry tools.
