Job summary

Heller's Gas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for long-term, year-round work. The role requires 4+ years in commercial/industrial electrical tasks, planning from blueprints, and reliable on-site performance.

The ideal candidate will read plans, communicate effectively, and be willing to perform plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed. Travel to build company plants is required, with a strong work ethic and independence valued.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with at least 4 years’ experience in commercial/industrial work
• Ability to read plans/specs and follow electrical drawings
• Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic
• Willingness to perform plumbing and carpentry tasks and to travel for project locations

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in commercial/industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs and electrical drawings to guide work
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and on schedule

Heller’s Gas Inc. is looking for an experienced Electrician. We are looking for a long-term, year-round, team member to join our team. Must be a Journeyman Electrician with at least 4 years’ experience in commercial/industrial work. Must be a self- motivated team player and be able to read plans/specs. You must have good communication skills and take pride in your work. Must be conscientious with a good work ethic and be dependable. Must be willing to do Plumbing and Carpenter work and be willing to travel to build Company plants.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Relevant experience with carpentry, masonry, and electrical is required
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices
• Valid driver’s license
• Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position and regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.in addition to weekends on an as-needed basis with the ability to work outside of or in addition to those hours as needed.

• Must be willing to travel. Travel expectation outside of the local area can vary.
