McCloskey Builders in Altoona, PA is seeking a Full-Time Carpenter to join our team. You will handle projects from rough framing to finish carpentry, read blueprints, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional carpentry experience.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Proficient with layout, framing, and finish trim work.
• Strong math skills for accurate layout and cutting.
• Self-motivated, multi-task person with the ability to lead & communicate well.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and sketches to determine project needs.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.
• Build framework like walls, floors, and roofs.
• Install items like doors, windows, trim and cabinets.
• Operate standard hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
