Job summary

Backroad Construction is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team on residential construction projects. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position focused on quality craftsmanship and dependable work.

You will perform framing, stairs, doors, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry from plans, read project specifications, and safely operate tools. A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry or construction experience.
• Ability to read plans and follow project specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, stair, door, window, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry work.
• Read and work from plans, prints, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials.
• Complete finish work and millwork with attention to detail.
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools.
• Identify problems and determine practical solutions on the job.
• Work independently while also supporting the project team.
