Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking a Skilled Care Dining Supervisor who understands dining is about more than the food—it's about creating an experience and building relationships for residents in every stage of life. You will assist the Certified Dietary Manager to lead the Wellspring dining team in a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.

Your duties include assisting with dining team oversight, creating and updating work schedules, coaching

Qualifications

• Experience leading dining teams in a care or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Understanding of compliance and safety in kitchen/dining operations.

Responsibilities

Skilled Care Dining Supervisor

Friendship Village is looking for a Dining Supervisor who understands that dining is about so much more than the food on the plate. It is about creating an experience, building relationships, and bringing joy to the lives of the people we serve - every day no matter what stage of life your customers are at.

As our Dining Supervisor, you assist the Certified Dietary Manager to lead the Wellspring dining team in creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. From a friendly greeting to a beautifully presented meal, the little details can make a big difference in someone's day.

In this position you are responsible for assisting with the oversite of the dining team, responsible for creating, posting and updating employees work schedules; assigns and monitors employee work; coaching and training staff, problem solving, conflict resolution, and provide opportunities for employee growth and improvement. Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the kitchens/dining area are stocked, kept clean and follow all legal and company compliance.

This position needs a leader that is warm and inviting while being creative and supportive. Good communications skills and attention to detail are critical in this role.
