Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Construction Maint Tech II to perform building maintenance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks across state properties. The role involves installing and repairing systems, supervising minor work, and assisting licensed tradesmen to ensure timely, quality outcomes.

Requires four years in building trades or equivalent; strong knowledge of tools and safety practices. Position is full-time, on-site within the Oklahoma Military Department facilities.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of four years of experience in one or more of the building trades or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry and structural work in construction, renovation or maintenance of buildings.
• Maintains and repairs electrical and plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Operates, maintains and repairs construction equipment and heavy machinery.
• Assists licensed tradesmen in their trades.
• Preps and paints interior and exterior walls and surfaces.
